I worked with Erika at NetApp where she was tasked with helping a busy UX team get more in-depth user research. After only working with her a short while, it was immediately clear that she possessed an incredible amount of knowledge and expertise and I was repeatedly impressed with the ease at which she accomplished things that I had personally seen others struggle with in the past. She is a go-getter who is just as comfortable interviewing customers as she is discussing her results with directors, product managers, and developers or building relationships with partners and salespeople in the field. Working with Erika was truly a pleasure.

Her experiences across companies including Oracle and as a consultant shined in my conversations with her, when she mentored me to kickstart customer experience focused consulting. One, she taught me a lot. Two, it showed me how much she has accomplished over her years!

I’ve worked with Erika for a number of years in a number of different contexts. I’ve seen her lead from the front and lead without authority. I’m always confident that any team or project she’s involved in will be successful. For example, I saw her grow a local innovation program (involving design jams and hackathons) from infancy to global maturity.

She's a master at developing and determining appropriate research methodologies, extracting relevant data, and presenting it in engaging and understandable formats. I participated in a number of the Design Jams and Hackathons that she led along with her team, and was always impressed by the effort she put into each of them, the amount of understanding she had across a diverse number of subjects, the ease at which she navigated through different product areas, and her ability to energize participants.
